learn

Reads a week of finished work and turns what was accepted, rejected or repeated into rules the tools keep.

Or read it at /raw/learn.md.

What it does

Watches four signals across a week of finished work, and the one that matters most is countable: how often the same instruction had to be restated. It attaches a reading to that count, that an aesthetic word repeated three times is not taste being restated but a missing measurement, so the move is to stop building and define the number the word means. Every finding is written in six fixed fields and deduped mechanically, on the object and the verb rather than on the prose, into one of three outcomes: write it new, sharpen the existing rule in place, or correct it in place and name the old version wrong in the same sentence. Nothing is appended to the end of a doctrine file, and a rule only counts as landed once the step that skipped it points at it.

When to reach for it

At the end of a week where the same correction had to be given twice, and the first one is written down somewhere nothing ever reads.

What it needs

Notes or a transcript archive to read, and the doctrine files it writes into. The paths it names are mine.
